The Worry Factor and The Christian Life

Job 7:6 My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and are spent without hope.

The worry factor. Worry is the art of continuing to feel anxious or uneasy.  It is one of the main thoughts with which Satan will try to fill your mind.  Most Christians have encountered this from time to time. The aim of the spirit of worry is to try to place a vivid picture in your mind, and make you feel that you are in a hopeless situation.

This was the picture he “painted” in the mind of Job, see Job 7:1-6.  Job’s thought of a lack of hope caused him to worry, and many Christians fall into the same trap.  They do not realize that God is ready to help them in any time of need.  They allow the enemy to constantly tempt them, not realizing that Satan’s final goal is to persuade the person to stop serving the Lord.  People will do this because they feel that God has not met their needs.

Psalm 37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble.
